Best time to visit Cancun
The sweet spot is late April through early June and September through mid-November — water is 82°F, hurricane risk stays low outside peak August/September, and rates drop 25–40% versus Christmas, spring break and July. If you're locked into school-holiday travel we can still land strong pricing, but flexibility on the front and back date of your trip is where FareStamp saves you the most.
Typical member savings
Most Cancun quotes land $500–$1,400 below what you'd pay booking direct with the resort or through a big OTA. A 6-night oceanview stay for two at Riu Palace Peninsula in shoulder season quoted at $3,480 retail comes back to our clients around $2,495 — same room category, same all-inclusive plan, same free cancellation window. Group bookings of 8+ rooms unlock a second layer of wholesale pricing on top of that.
Resort brands we book in Cancun
We hold live wholesale contracts with Riu, Hard Rock, Iberostar, Excellence, Palace Resorts (Moon Palace, Le Blanc), Grand Fiesta Americana, Hyatt Ziva and Sandos. Adults-only, family-friendly, or a private butler swim-up suite — tell us the vibe and we match the rate to the room, we don't pitch you whichever hotel pays us the fattest commission.
Flights & getting there
